Playing with Light

The inherent transparency of the water-based paint allows for great opportunity to practice subsurface scattering and other, more vibrant lighting scenarios without the pressure of perfection. If I could only practice one medium for the rest of my life, it would be watercolors that I chose.

I primarily use Art Philosophy watercolor sets for the bulk of my painting, and Daniel Smith for my most vibrant parts.
